CARE GUIDE
PAPER FLOWER CARE
The Paper Posy Co bouquets are designed to last for years with gentle care and thoughtful placement.
Unlike fresh flowers, your blooms won’t wilt or fade within days — but they are handcrafted paper artworks and should be treated with care.
KEEP DRY
Paper flowers are not water-safe.
Please avoid:
water exposure
outdoor weather
damp environments
bathrooms with heavy steam
direct spills
If your bouquet becomes lightly damp, allow it to air dry naturally.
AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Extended direct sunlight may gradually fade colours over time.
For best longevity, display your bouquet in:
indirect natural light
shaded interiors
shelf styling
protected display areas
HANDLE GENTLY
Each bouquet is individually handcrafted and shaped by hand.
Petals and foliage may be adjusted slightly during transit and can usually be gently repositioned if needed. Avoid excessive bending or crushing.
DUSTING
To remove dust:
use a soft dry brush
gently blow away dust
or use low-pressure cool air from a distance
Do not use water, sprays, or cleaning products.
STORAGE
If storing your bouquet:
keep upright where possible
avoid heavy pressure
store in a cool, dry environment
A NOTE ON HANDCRAFTED WORK
Small variations, asymmetry, texture shifts, and handmade details are part of the character of each piece.
No two bouquets are ever exactly alike — and that’s exactly the point.
frequently asked questions
ARE THE FLOWERS REAL?
No — all TPPC blooms are handcrafted from paper and specialty cardstock.
Each arrangement is individually cut, shaped, layered, and assembled by hand.
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?
With proper care, your bouquet can last for many years.
Unlike fresh flowers, they won’t wilt after a week — making them perfect for keepsakes, interiors, gifts, weddings, and long-term display.

Keep dry and out of direct sunlight
Handle gently — this is paper art, not a toy
HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE TO MAKE?
Production time depends on the size of the work, availability of materials, seasonal launches and high-volume periods. As each piece is handcrafted in our Melbourne studio, please allow 3 - 10 business days for your order to be created and dispatched. Rush orders may be accepted at our discretion and may incur an additional fee.
CAN I CUSTOMISE A BOUQUET?
Yes — custom commissions are available depending on workload and seasonal availability.
Custom work may include:
colour palettes
flower types
wrapping styles
vase options
themes or concepts
event styling
Please get in touch via the Contact page for enquiries.
ARE THE FLOWERS FRAGILE?
They are sturdier than many people expect, but they are still handcrafted paper artworks and should be handled gently.
Minor repositioning after shipping is completely normal.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?
TPPC currently ships Australia-wide only. International shipping may be available for select pieces — if you’re located overseas and would like to purchase a bouquet, please contact us and we’ll do our best to arrange a custom shipping quote for you.
Shipping details and processing times are shown on each individual item listing.
CAN I ORDER FOR WEDDINGS OR EVENTS?
Yes — wedding florals, installations, gifts, and event work may be available by enquiry.
Please contact us early for larger projects.
WILL MY BOUQUET LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PHOTO?
Each bouquet is handcrafted individually, so slight variations may occur.
This includes:
flower placement
shaping
paper grain
handmade detailing
These subtle differences are part of the charm and uniqueness of handmade work. We reserve the right to substitute materials as required.
DO YOU OFFER LIMITED EDITIONS?
Yes — TPPC regularly releases seasonal and concept-based limited edition collections.
Once retired, many designs move into the Archive and may not return in the same form again.
Limited edition and seasonal collections may contain one-off or specialty papers, or other mixed media. Due to small supplies of these materials, we may adjust or substitute one material for another, while still retaining the original vibe and intention of the piece.
