CUSTOM COMMISSION

MAY 2026

LEOPARD GARDENIA

Created as a bespoke commission, Leopard Gardenia explored the intersection of soft romantic floristry and bold fashion-inspired pattern work. Designed specifically to suit the recipient’s personal aesthetic, the piece paired blush-toned gardenia forms with layered leopard-print detailing, creating a bloom that felt simultaneously elegant, playful, and unapologetically expressive.

The sculptural flower was presented in a black TPPC signature paper vase design, finished with satin ribbon and archival-style tagging to echo luxury gifting and boutique floristry traditions. Broad green foliage was used to frame the bloom and soften the graphic contrast of the patterned petals.

This piece marked an early exploration of TPPC’s interest in personalised statement florals, fashion-adjacent surface design, and paper vessels as part of the overall sculptural composition rather than separate presentation objects.

AUTUMN EQUINOX 2026

MAR - MAY 2026

spiced petal

Created for the Autumn 2026 Equinox, Spiced Petal explored themes of seasonal abundance, gathered botanicals, and the quiet richness of autumnal colour through layered paper florals and sculptural foliage work.

The arrangement combined saffron gold, paprika red, softened plum, mauve ash, and muted olive tones within a compact ceramic vessel, drawing inspiration from autumn markets, fallen leaves, candlelit interiors, and heavy floristry books left open on timber tables. Broad oak-inspired foliage and clustered botanical elements were used to create a sense of fullness and slow movement, balancing vivid seasonal colour with grounded restraint.

This piece continued TPPC’s exploration of seasonal storytelling through tactile paper construction, archival-inspired palettes, and arrangements designed to feel collected rather than formally arranged.

EASTER 2026

MAR - APR 2026

marzipan meadow

Created for Easter 2026, Marzipan Meadow explored themes of seasonal gathering, gentle nostalgia, and spring abundance through layered paper florals in softened confectionary tones.

The arrangement combined warm cream blooms, blush-edged florals, buttery yellows, and delicate foliage within a sculptural bunny vessel, referencing Easter table traditions, sugared sweets, and decorative heirloom objects. The composition was intentionally restrained, favouring warmth, texture, and quiet detail over overt novelty.

This piece continued TPPC’s interest in ritual-inspired seasonal work, blending handcrafted floristry with object-based storytelling and softened archival colour palettes.

LUNAR NEW YEAR 2026

FEB - MAR 2026

Auspicious peony

Created for Lunar New Year 2026, Auspicious Peony explored themes of renewal, prosperity, and ceremonial beauty through layered crimson paper construction and restrained gold detailing.

The sculptural bloom combined oversized peony forms with geometric metallic elements partially concealed within the petals, designed to reward close viewing rather than immediate spectacle. Traditional knotting techniques and symbolic wrapping details were incorporated throughout the presentation, reflecting the exchange-gift traditions associated with the season.

This piece marked an early exploration of TPPC’s ongoing interest in ritual objects, symbolic floristry, and archival-style seasonal work.

VALENTINE’S 2026

JAN - FEB 2026

LOVE NOTE

A quiet, intimate bloom exploring tenderness through layered handwritten detail, softened blush tones, and concealed fragments of text. Designed as a sculptural love letter, Love Note reflects the beauty of words kept close and emotions spoken gently.

ENDURING

A densely layered sculptural dahlia honouring love shaped slowly over time. Deep red-violet tones and a restrained copper core create a sense of steadiness, permanence, and quiet emotional strength.

ACCOMPLICE

A bold, joy-filled gerbera celebrating chosen family, loyalty, and shared chaos through saturated colour and unapologetic presence. Accomplice embraces loud affection, creative energy, and the kind of connection that shows up without hesitation.

SACRED SELF

A meditative sculptural peony-inspired bloom, created as an act of self-devotion. Layered purples, silvers, and varied textures gather inward toward a guarded centre, reflecting reflection, stillness, and personal worth held close.

HEARTBREAKER

A sharp, graphic bloom built through bold monochrome contrast and a vivid red centre. Heartbreaker explores attraction without sentimentality — confident, composed, and entirely self-defined.

BOROONDARA SUMMER SALON EXHIBITION 2025-26

DEC 2024 - JAN 2025

YOU SHOULD JUST ASK CHATGPT

Created for Boroondara’s Summer Salon exhibition, You Should Just Ask ChatGPT reimagined the Victorian language of flowers through the lens of contemporary technology, digital culture, and AI-assisted communication.

The sculptural bouquet combined traditional floriography with CMYK colour theory, holographic materials, binary encoding, and intentionally placed visual “glitches” throughout the arrangement. Cyan, magenta, yellow, and black blooms were paired with iridescent surfaces and machine-like repetition, designed to evoke the aesthetics of digital rendering while remaining entirely handcrafted.

Each flower carried symbolic meaning drawn from Victorian floral language, forming a coded message around curiosity, memory, wit, anticipation, and human connection. Hidden binary elements woven through the bouquet translated to the phrase: “You should just ask ChatGPT.”

This piece marked an early exploration of TPPC’s ongoing interest in coded objects, contemporary folklore, technological symbolism, and the tension between handmade craft and machine-generated culture.
