ABOUT

posy co

Why settle for flowers that fade when you can have blooms that last forever?

The Paper Posy Co creates handcrafted paper florals, sculptural bouquets, and seasonal collections designed to bring colour, atmosphere, and personality into everyday spaces.

Created by Melbourne artist Els Jones, each arrangement is individually cut, shaped, layered, and styled by hand using specialty cardstock, fine papers, and sculptural construction techniques. Inspired by floristry, editorial styling, nostalgia, symbolism, and colour storytelling, TPPC sits somewhere between botanical object, art piece, and joyful rebellion against boring blooms.

From disco-bright statement pieces to soft romantic palettes and theatrical limited editions, every bouquet is designed to feel expressive, memorable, and just a little unexpected.

Sustainable, customisable, and conversation-starting by nature, these are flowers designed to last long after fresh blooms fade.

Because honestly? Boring blooms just didn’t make the cut.

the studio philosophy

TPPC began as an exploration of colour, symbolism, sculptural floristry, and handcrafted object design through paper.

Each bouquet balances botanical inspiration with layered construction, editorial styling, and seasonal storytelling. Some collections are playful and vibrant. Others are quiet, atmospheric, or conceptually driven. Many begin simply as colour studies, fragments, textures, or ideas gathered slowly over time in the studio.

The result is a body of work that embraces both craftsmanship and personality — florals that feel expressive rather than mass-produced.

Alongside core collections, TPPC also explores:

  • seasonal releases

  • archival works

  • custom commissions

  • exhibition pieces

  • limited editions

  • experimental paper techniques and sculptural forms

At its heart, TPPC is about creating objects that feel joyful, tactile, memorable, and unapologetically full of character.

Paper, scissors & alchemy.
