A place for sparkle enthusiasts, colour collectors, tiny rebels, disco dreamers, cosmic explorers, and anyone who's ever looked at a perfectly sensible outfit and thought:

Glitter Riot is a mobile Glitter Bar led by artist and self-appointed Riot Leader Els Jones. Part creative playground and part celebration of self-expression, Glitter Riot exists for one simple reason:

BECAUSE BEING SEEN SHOULDN’T BE SCARY.

Whether you're seven or seventy, everyone deserves the chance to feel a little brighter, a little bolder, and a little more themselves.

Sometimes that looks like a lightning bolt across your cheek. Sometimes it looks like a galaxy of glitter freckles. Sometimes it looks like standing in front of a mirror and realising you're allowed to take up space.

The glitter washes off.

The confidence tends to stick around.

We believe life is better with a little more colour.

We believe glitter is for everyone.

We believe confidence comes in many forms, including lightning bolts.

We believe in trying things just because they look fun.

We believe in disco dreamers, cosmic explorers, tiny rebels, and people who colour outside the lines.

We believe joy is worth making time for.

And we believe that if you're going to sparkle, you may as well use the whole glitter jar.

Glitter Riot was created by Melbourne artist Els Jones.

Part artist, part maker, part professional overthinker of colour palettes, Els firmly believes that life is improved by creativity, curiosity, and the occasional completely unnecessary amount of sparkle.

When she's not leading glitter-based uprisings, you'll usually find her making paper flowers, designing something strange, or disappearing down a new creative rabbit hole.
